2011 DBC-7: Come on Up to iPad

As many of you may already know, I won an iPad from RealBird last year. It was shipped to me just before Thanksgiving. It has been the best and most useful prize ever. The only thing better would have been if it were 3G instead of WiFi only.

By all means, don't get me wrong, I love it so much I would marry it if I could, but it's time for me take the show on the road with iPad2 with 3G. I use existing iPad in the field particularly with presentations using Keynote, but my inability to log on to the internet at will has been a major disadvantage. Yes, yes, yes, I do use my smartphone of internet access, but let's face it, mobile sites have made it easier, but when working with clients on the road, a larger screen would be much welcomed. I'm not even going to go into the all of the other laurels of the famed iPad.

Charita: I believe the Ipad is the game changer. My Dell tablet has been a fiasco and I have gotten no help from my provider or Dell. Just a lot of bills. That comment from the agent in the Carolinas that his company gave all 650+ agents an Ipad did it for me. We will be having an Ipad Christmas.

Charita - I use my wife's IPad2 for listing appointments but other than that I like my laptop. She thinks IPad2 is the only way to surf / work when out of the office.

Yeah Charita. I only have the iPad 1 but went ahead and purchased the Mac Book Pro for a laptop. They are all quite convenient! Have fun...oh and I am already a member of Real Bird :)!

Hi Charita - I've had my iPad for over a year and I couldn't get by without it. One of the unsuspected effects, though, was that it turned by beloved iPhone into just a phone - I can actually see what's on my iPad so I tend to use it for everything except phone calls.

Barbara T discovering RealBird was a marketing dream com true. You do a great job of maximizing its usefullness.

Shannon, trust me. You and RealBird will be a match made in real estate heaven.

Paula if you do nothing else, you MUST implement RealBird into your listing strategy.

Jeanean it's a definite game changer. We have to use whatever works. If the Dell tablet is working for you, then so be it. Just go with that.

John I'm going to side with the Mrs.

Brenda, the iPad is the only MAC platform that I have ever used. I'm a PC at heart. Hope you're loving RealBird.

Perfect Dick. So does that mean you can trade your Smartphone in for just a regular cell since the iPad is so portable.
