Weight Loss Solutions in Palm Beach County-Meet Barbara Feinstein!

I would love for you to meet my friend, Barbara Feinstein, but now there’sScale so much less of her to like!  I met Barbara out at Green Cay a few years ago only then  we called her Chef Barrae.  As she is now, Barbara was very much into healthy foods and healthy meals.   


I don’t think she would mind my saying this, but when we met her, well there was much more of Barbara to like!  
 

I had not seen Barbara out at Green Cay in quite a while, but that’s not unusual for our area.  Many residents spend the summer months up north.   What a pleasant surprise I had when I read an article in the Sun-Sentinel about a chef who lost 200 pounds with her own healthy eating plan.  I did a double take because there in the paper was Chef Barrae!

Fast forward to a few months ago when we saw the return of another one of our Green Cay Walkers...Michael.. and standing next to him was Barbara! (more on Michael later)

Barbara was as they say but a shadow of her former self and has chronicled her weight loss on her website and offers seminars, private consultations as well as meditation classes.
 

Her 2-3-4 Weight Loss Solution is not a diet but rather a lifestyle change that focuses on learning what triggers our unhealthy food choices.  


michael and barbaraSo how does Michael fit in?  Michael and Barbara met when they were 21 & 19 respectively, married, then divorced and had not seen each other for 30  years.

Fate had them living for 2 years within 20 minutes of each other and only a few miles from Green Cay in Boynton Beach.

Barbara has written a book detailing her own personal 2-3-4 weight loss as well as a companion cookbook full of recipes.  Michael provides meditation classes to enhance the weight loss program.    

Michael and Barbara remarried in February of 2012 and  are working  together to help bring South Floridians a healthier way of life.

What a wonderful before and after comparison. I know all about getting those pounds off, have lost 90 lbs since I have been with my Ronnie........I gained a lot after my parents both passed within a two year span and my kids left home for college right afterward.

BARFF- seriously, when I met her she was much larger.  She is also a very upbeat person. 

Frank- an the good thing is that she didn't just do it overnight. 

Conrad- I know.. I love happy romantic endings. 

Bobbie- it is long term and she has done it in a healthy way. 

Gabe- I know so many people who've bounced back and forth with various diets. 

Janis- I think she looks at least 20 years younger. 

Debbie- you hit the nail on the head....it's a matter of being healthy. 

Scott- I can remember all of the liquid diets and grapefruit diets but it's about eating healthy.

Cheryl- I know.. wasn't that a great Before and After pic. 

Barbara-Jo- That's incredible!  I think back when as children, our parents were always offering us food as a reward or when we were upset. 

John (QMan)- my downfall would be all of the great cookies and desserts during the holidays.

Al & Peggy- I had to look twice when i saw her but what you see as well is her enthusiasm.
