BE THERE ! ---December 10, 2012 at the Center Stage and Matisyahu’s Festival of Light Tour: An Acoustic Evening comes to Atlanta. Celebrate the 3rd night of Chanukah, the Festival of Light, at the concert. You will find tickets for the event, which starts at 7:00 pm, on sale now.

The Center Stage is located at 1374 West Peachtree Street, Atlanta 30309. On December 10th, 2012 doors open at 7:00 pm for an 8:00 pm show. We will have a rare opportunity to see Matisyahu in a live performance right here in Midtown Atlanta.

What? You want to know just who is Matisyahu anyway? Well, there is not one single answer. Basically he sings songs of spiritual reachings in a distinctive manner. Starting from his non-observant Jewish teenage love of Reggae, he became a Hassidic Jew who sang Reggae to share his messages of hope and faith around 2004. He didn’t shave, he had long hair and dressed in the traditional Hassidic garb, he made music videos. ONE DAY is an example in a studio recording and as a music video.

After many years, he shifted his focus. You can see his different appearance in a video he did singing ONE DAY with Luke Weber (below) in February 2012. Hard to understand his singing?   Over 1,239,000 viewers have watched the video of the lyrics for the song (below).

Then around the SUMMER TOUR 2012, he looked completely different although his powerful voice still shared his message. Matisyahu spoke in an interview with AP about his spiritual journey. Who knows what will be in the future?
