Last Week's Favorite Newbie "First Post"
As I was browsing through the post of new members, I thought about how hard it was for many of us to jump in the blogging pool and how as a new AR member how how difficult it was to find our rhythm in the Rain. And let's not even talk about struggling to get noticed and fit in. Additionally I thought about how we needed the encouragement to keep going, but didn't quite know how to ask for it. As a result, I thought I'd shine a spotlight on some of the Newbie First Posts that caught my attention. I hope you'll stop and do what you do best: acknowledge their post, welcome them, offer words of encouragement and of course offer to make yourself available if they need you.

February 24:
Passion is Contagious - Infect Somebody! by Robin Kraft
Although this was a reblog of one of Mike Cooper's post, Robin really did a good job of leading in with what it means to have passion and be passionate about something. She further went on to note how she hopes that her passion comes reigning through via the service she provides to her clients. I certain felt the passion in the post.
We are Not Salespeople - Well at Lease Some of us Aren't - Are you? by Sammer Mudawar
I started reading this post and then stopped because at first I didn't like the direction that it was taking and because I thought it might in some way be a bit controversial and I didn't want his first post to be hammered. As a result, I came back to the post a few times and then I read it all the way through and I'm glad that I did. Sammer's overarching point begs the simple questions: Are you a professional and do you carry yourself in a professional manner.
The Website of My Dreams by Lebett Calar
What really caught my eye about Lebett is that her first post was about her idea website as part of the Websitebox contest. It wasn't so much the post that she had written, but rather the fact that she joined the day before the contest was over and jumped right in with both feet to participate.

Why Facebook Should be a Very Important Part of Your Business by Sarah Cole
Well this one might be personal. All of a sudden Facebook "marketing" is really appealing to me and the pieces continue to come together.

It’s Raining Cats and Dogs Outside... Is It a Sign? by Megan Kornmeier
When I read this post on Thursday, Feb 28, I was surprised that it wasn't featured since it was literally a cry for AR members to suggest ways in which she could success on AR. At least I don't think it was featured. Although I didn't see a "suggest" link, I also didn't see a featured gold star. Hopefully by now, the post has been featured or at the very least, I'm hoping that as a result of the Best of the First post, the AR member will rally to her post and offer the best suggestions that have worked for you in the past.

Multiple Offers in the Texas Real Estate Market, What Do You Do? by Dan Lyons
I'm featuring Dan for two reasons: 1) He wrote such a good post that it got features and (2) the featured post is about a situation that many owners and agents are fortunate enough to be facing: Multiple Offers. Dan talks about the right way and the wrong way to handle multiple offers in the Texas real estate market.

The trouble with lease-options by Ron Denhaan
Well I'll tell you one thing, Ron doesn't particularly care for lease options and to be honest with you, I have never witnessed a lease purchase that was worked out for the buyer either. Ron is passionately against lease options and I understand the reason why.
My first blog, Yaaaaay! by Christine Laidley
What else can you say about a Newbie jumping right in and introducing herself. As of March 1st, Christine's Newbie inaugural post had not been featured, but I hope this shines a magnificent light on her and that everyone converges on her post to give her an old fashion AR welcome.

My First AR Blog by Christopher Dominas
Christopher's title begs our attention. How many times have we said if you want to get noticed, then let us know you are here and he did just that. The other thing that I love about Christopher's first post is the he tells us exactly who he is, what he does and how he got where he is to day.

31 Reason to to Move to the Stevens Point School Sytems by Sally Crane
I featured this post because I believe that Sally is going to get a lot of traction out of that title. Readers like list and although Sally doesn't present a list people will flow to it anyway simply because it highlights the benefits of a school system.
