Christmas in Downtown Clarksville
Whether it is day or night, Christmas is in full swing in downtown Clarksville. The businesses and buildings are adorned and lighted including our Historic Courthouse.
Down on the banks of the Cumberland River you will can stroll the winding walkways during the daytime but after dark, tens of thousands of lights come alive and music is playing at Christmas on the Cumberland. This display will continue until January 4, 2014 and is free and perfect for all ages.
But don't forget downtown. The streets and lampposts are adorned and lighted and present a festive holiday picture. There are even some surprises here and there that will bring a smile to your face.
Seeing Christmas in Downtown Clarksville is part of enjoying the holiday season for the folks in the Clarksville and Ft. Campbell. I recommend that you see it in the daytime, go at dusk and then come back at night. Each time offers something different to see. And while you are downtown, enjoy a nice dinner or take in a play at the Roxy Theater. This will really put you into the holiday spirit.
