YouTube Thursdays - Won’t you be my Neighbor-hood Video?
Want to tap into a great SEO resource? Create a series of videos featuring the neighborhoods you want to sell. Anita Clark offers proof of how successful these videos can be for winning clients - both buyers and sellers. In addition, when you help buyers or sellers in the neighborhood, you can add the video to your “just sold” blog post and reap new benefits. Anita does it all the time and her presentation is always impressive.
When you search for “Prune Hill View Homes, Camas” two of my posts still show up on the front page, even though it’s been a while since I wrote a new blog. ( My bad, must write new post asap! ) And, when you search videos of “Homes for Sale, Prune Hill and Prune Hill View Homes, Camas,” my video is at the top, right below the paid sites. Pretty cool, huh? Especially considering the video was produced in 2011!
The neighborhood videos I’ve produced ( so far) all get this top of page Google ranking. Sure, it takes a bit of time. I generally spend about an hour shooting the video, and an hour getting it edited and ready for YouTube. Naturally, I have a story board and script prior to shoot day. That streamlines my efforts and keeps me on task in the field. You can always tweak things and make adjustments to the script if necessary during the editing process.
Here are a few examples of neighborhood videos - I like the different styles and music, they not only represent the differences in regions, but the personalities of the video producers.

Rich Cotton ( Please subscribe to his Channel) ( This video also features one of his listings) My advice do a more generic neighborhood video - and a separate video ( or slideshow-virtual tour) for the specific property - that way you can reuse the video for general marketing purposes. More bang for your buck!
