Can A Table Multitask?

This one can!

Never thought about it much until yesterday when I saw a Raven's Man/Woman's Cave at the Maryland Home & Holiday Show at Timonium Fairgrounds.

This cave was done by Norbert Young, the president elect of American Society of Interior Designers ...ASID Maryland Chapter.

Check out the coffee table and see what else it stores...yep that is a cooler!

It was my pleasure to have Mr. Young as a guest on my live radio show this past Sunday. We talked about how a designer can help before, during and after purchasing a home.

The table, above, does multitask and is the perfect accessory for a Raven's Cave..be it male or female!

I think for a "cave" be it a man or woman variety that is an awesome use of a coffee table space. We may want to rethink the name to maybe Beer table or bevie table?

Hi Margaret. That is a very cool table! The idea of the "Not So Big" house is to create rooms and furniture that can multitask. Makes sense, when you think about it. Why heat and cool and dust and pay a mortgage on space that is rarely used, like a formal dining room or a guest rooom?
