Serendipity Sundays - Thinking Outside the Box
Being a small business owner means you do many jobs. I remember when I owned my own business that if someone called in sick it meant I would step in and do whatever was needed. If the kitchen needed cleaning I would clean it. If the baths needed scrubbing then I would scrub them. It is the way of a small business owner.
You have to figure out shortcuts to get everything done and find multi-purposes for things because you can't necessarily buy all things you need at once. Thinking outside the box takes a little creativity and ingenuity. When I saw what this shop owner was doing I was impressed. Was it careful planning or happenstance? Whatever it was, it worked.
When was the last time you took time to think outside the box?
