Refuse to Get Trapped in the Status Quo

“The first step towards success is taken when you refuse

to be a captive of the environment in which you

first find yourself.”

Mark Caine, American Writer

As I see it . . . . . . .

Refuse get trapped in the status quo

It’s comfortable to continue to do what you have also been doing. It feels safe . . . . and in most case it’s just part of a routine that doesn’t require much thought.

The question becomes . . . . is what your doing creating forward momentum in your career . . . and moving you closer to achieving your goal?. Or are you becoming a captive of the status quo?

In the world of the status quo you are moving around in the circle of your comfort zone. As you moving in circles you are creating a deeper and deeper rut. That rut will eventually block out the creative light of your success journey . . . . and create a barrier to your forward progress.

Don’t get trapped in the status quo . . . . If you feel yourself going around in circles your there . . . . and you need of change of the mental environment of your thinking,

Step back and revaluate your activities . . . . and if your thinking in harmony with achieving your goals.

Refocus your activities on doing the things that are most important for you to achieve your goals . . . . and put them into the order of their priorities to achieve your objectives.

Refuse get trapped in the status quo . . . . step out of the box . . . . and step into the world of possibilities and opportunities.

I think this is one of the reasons many choose not to educate themselves, they seem to lack a desire for constant learning.

Great post Lou! You always have some inspirational nuggets for us. Isn't the definition of insanity doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result? We have to step out of our comfort zones in order to get to where we want to be, and not be satisfied with the status quo.

Life can be rather short and uneventful for those who accept the status quo, yet so much more fulfilling for those who step out of their comfort zone and set out to achieve the maximum.

Learn from the status quo but always know that you don't need to stay there. Love and light! :)

Good morning Lou. One thing that I have learned on AR from so many, that the status quo just doesn't work.

Good morning Lou. Yes, sometimes we all need to step back and reevaluate where we are in the process. It is easy to get trapped.

Hi Lou: Getting stuck in a status quo will lead to ennui, then the feeling of sadness because of that sense of lack of achievement. Great one Lou.

Lou, when we continue to do the same things, we continue to see the same results.   Get out of the routine, try something new and hope to see new results!

Just because something has always been done the same way doesn't mean that it's the best way or it can't be changed to a better way…..
