Austin Active Rain Meet up~Cheese Cake Factory~Bob Ratliff a great host!
Thank you Bob Ratliff for hosting the Austin Active Rain Meet-up on Wednesday January 21, 2015 at The CheeseCake Factory at the Arboretum ( I loved the location because my office is right in that center! ) Our turnout was outstanding with 10 Active Rain members and one family member. We enjoyed some great food and conversation and said “Cheese Cake” for our waiter when he snapped some photos! Bob even distributed lottery tickets as a hostess gift...thank you Bob…how thoughtful!
We learned some interesting developments to keep us “operating within the law” in this litigious society we live in as Realtors®; from a class that Anne Johnson Re/Max attended (sorry I did not get her photo). We had a lively discussion and she promised to email us a disclosure that could be very beneficial for all of us.
We all agreed Dagny’s idea of entertaining at home lends itself to a very relaxed and informal atmosphere. Sherry Scales offered to host a meet-up in her home later in the year!
Kerrie, thanks for encouraging these meet-ups it is fun to get together...we all have busy schedules but it’s nice to take time to engage in some good conversations with our members!
