It is Sunday afternoon on the hottest day of the year. After I dropped off my wife so that see can visit someone in a rehab center I decided to take my camera down to the Hudson River. I am here at the Dobbs Ferry Waterfront Park. It is a hot hazy day.
Looking up the Hudson River northward is the Tappan Zee Bridge. This bridge is a major Thruway in the area. It was built in 1955 and is way past its useful life. A new bridge is in progress.
If you look closely you can see the pilings work on the other side of the bridge.
At least one person know how to enjoy the hot weather riding the river in a kayak.
Or you can sit under these trees and enjoy the view.
There is a great restaurant, Half Moon, on the other end of the park where you can eat as you watch the sunset over the water.
