Here we are and it is Thanksgiving evening. I would like to belatedly wish a Happy Thanksgiving to all my readers, friends, clients and all who know me. This is one of my favorite Holidays of the year, hence I was busy all day preparing the Traditional Dinner instead of blogging. Most of my friends and clients respect my one day “off” from being “on”. Well not “off” just delayed response to all inquiries.
The older I get, the more I appreciate Thanksgiving and the meaning it stands for. It is all about giving ‘Thanks’. This should not be just one day in the year, but it should be practiced every day of the year. I admit it I try to be grateful every day, there are some days I forget and then it hits me how lucky I am and how I need to be grateful for everything, health, friends, clients and pets to name a few.
More importantly, I must say how truly grateful I am for Diane putting up with me, I am not one of the easiest person to get along with. On a side note neither is she, so we complement each other in many ways, we have been together through thick and thin. She was there for me when I changed careers and became a Realtor. She was there for me when my mother passed away. She was there when my father passed away. She was there for me when the market crashed. At the same time, she was there when I was recognized by my previous company for being a top producer, President’s Circle, Diamond Society and the list goes on and on. She was there when I switched Brokers as well as when I was recognized for my achievements year after year, President’s Circle, Honor Society and the list goes on and on.
We have grown together and that is very meaningful and I appreciate it. Some people grow apart with time, others get closer together. We have grown closer together. She is my sounding board, my rock and my reality check. Thanks to her I have grown to love all animals, not just ours. We have also learned to tolerate each other’s strengths as well as weaknesses.
So, with that said hope you have such a great relationship with your partner as I do with Diane. Keep in mind we work at it every day; some days I work harder other days she works harder. The bottom line is we have each other. Thank you, Diane, for your Loyalty & Support through thick and thin.
