Sometimes it's just right to escape for a few day, and that's exactly what my husband and I did - 4 nights in a little HomeAway rental (think VRBO or Airbnb) on the windward side of Oahu.
This is what we wake up to in the mornings, and what we see as twilight ends.
Gene has an unerring ability to sleuth out the best places!
It's impossible not to relax here Michael Jacobs . A little snorkling, some lazy hiking, checking out sea turtles from a Hobie Cat--and then back to our lanai for happy hour. Life is good.

Hi Lottie: That looks like Kaneohe Bay Drive near the yacht club. When my daughter was young, we lived there on the water. Very calming, away from the crowds.

Hi Sheila Newton Team -- Anderson & Greenville SC Real Estate - the main Hawaiian island, Oahu, is where Honolulu is located. It's home to Diamond Head, Waikiki and Pearl Harbor among other attractions. Our favorite location is the windward side of the island, 30 minutes from Honolulu. That's the relaxing, beautiful, tropical-feeling part.

I just got back too, Lottie Kendall and realized that 4 days is a better vacation than 10! I thoroughly enjoyed the trip but, won't be taking such a long one again - that's for sure! ;-) So happy you enjoyed yours!
