Wordless Wednesday...Sun Not Always Needed!
When we think of the beach, thoughts of the warm sun shining on us comes to mind. But, that’s not always the case!
Some of my favorite beach days are the ones when the sun is resting behind a cloudy grey sky. It’s a time to breathe. No particular thoughts come to mind. For me, it’s my Me time when the clouds are like an invisible cover just for me.

One of the best days at the beach I've had came when Sacramento had a long stretch of very hot summer days with temps well above 100. I took a trip to the coast, and sat on the beach, where there were a clouds similar to those pictured. I loved getting back into the car and having the local Santa Cruz weaterman tell us that temps there would be reaching into the 70s.
