April Challenge...Time to Get Out and Show Off Your Area
It’s Spring and in many areas, warmer temperatures are a signal that it’s time to get out and enjoy some fresh air and sunshine.
We’ve all been cooped up for too long because of the weather or local restrictions and I’ll bet residents in your area are feeling the same way. So April’s Challenge is to share local posts about your area.
Hannah Williams and I are co-hosting the April Challenge-Time to Get Out and Show Off Your Area.
While all states have different levels of restrictions, there are still outdoor activities and events and outdoor dining that can be enjoyed.
Here are some places and events to consider when you’re trying to decide what to write about...
~Local parks
~Nature walks
~Spring planting classes
~Short day trips in your area
~Art shows
~Local Farmer’s Markets
~Best areas for a picnic
~Local fishing areas
~Best places to see spring flowers
~Best outdoor dining
~Local lakes
~Activities for children
All you have to do is write a post telling us about a place or event in your area, be sure to include at least one photo. Add tips from your own personal experiences and it makes your local post stand out!
You can write one, two, or up to three local posts.

-Deadline is April 30, 2021, 11:59 PST
-Each post must contain at least one photo or clip art (Be sure to observe copyright laws)
- Each post must contain at least 300 words.
- Leave a link to your post(s) in the comment section of this post.

Each post will receive 1,000 points for a maximum of 3,000 points.
BONUS Point:
Includes video in any post and receive an extra 500 points for a maximum of 500 points.
