Motivational Monday...Priorities
Here’s hoping that everyone had a very special weekend. We celebrated Mother’s Day with some of the family, burgers on the grill, and lots of desserts.
My day was busy with preparations and family so I did not begin to roam around this site until 8 at night.
Earlier in the day, I was trying to squeeze in some ActiveRain time between making my sausage dip, setting the tables, and prepping everything else and I started feeling guilty.
I had not read any of the posts by the members I follow and I had not responded to any comments made on my post.
Have you ever felt like that?
Habit...obligations...schedules…
I had a wonderful day with my family and had so much fun with the children. The two youngest never stopped running around so I’m sure that they went to sleep as soon as they were buckled into their seats.
These precious moments are the ones that you want to have stored in your memory because you know that once gone, they will not return.
As you begin your week and look at what you have on your calendar, make sure that it’s filled with the priorities in YOUR life.
You don’t want to look back and see a schedule full of “should dos” ...make sure you schedule in the memory makers too!!!
The key is not to prioritize what's on your schedule but to schedule your priorities. Stephen Covey
