Tuesday’s Treasures…On Stage With Grandpa

 

Last weekend was Homecoming Weekend for my oldest great-nephew, Luke. The plan was to go to dinner with a few friends, then head to the dance. 

 

My niece volunteered to drive Luke and a few of his friends to the Town Lake Boardwalk for dinner and then to the dance. No dates, just there to be seen!

 

                     Luke is 4th in, and one of his friends is to his left. My brother is the silver-haired dude. 

At the last minute, they decided instead of dinner on the Boardwalk, they’d rather see my brother and his band (Checkered Past) play. The restaurant was nearby, and casual and Luke got to show off his Grandpa.

 

PS. the boys did go to their dance later!.

Brian England my niece drove them to the dance after that and their dad (the cop) picked the boys up after the dance.
