This Week…Time for Hugs
This week, Larry and I had lunch with our friend of over 40 years. She and her husband were our first neighbors in our first home.

Our husbands had the same birthday though many years apart. Their first child also shares their birthday. We spent many Friday night happy hours together in one or the other’s homes.
Laughing together is as close as you can get to a hug without touching.

This Monday is the anniversary of Glen’s death in a terrible car accident…he was not much over 40.
There isn’t a day or week that goes by when I don’t think of him. One thing that stands out was his hugs.

They weren’t the cursory hug and go either. When he hugged you, you knew you were loved.
His wife is the same, so when we had lunch this week, I was overjoyed to get her you are loved hug.
