At last, we have a snow day in Northern Virginia. Everything is so peaceful and quiet. And since there was not much to do today outside of the office, I stayed in and went through some photos for some upcoming listings,, doing some lightweight editing. This one in particular really struck my mood. A little rest and relaxtion by the fireplace sounds like it would hit the spot.

Northern Virginia, a suburb of Washington, DC, has been experiencing one of the most severe winters this 2009-2010 season. With a blizzard in December 2009, and another two in February 2010 (one of which is happening now) our area may very well set an all-time high with total winter snowfall. Don't even mention the fact that areas in Prince William and Loudoun Counties are getting more snow than the official recording station for our area at Reagan National Airport.
Has all this snow had an effect on the Northern Virginia real estate market?
