I Sold Two Cats ...they just happen to be part of 28 acres and a very unique contemporary home. Numerous posts have been written about one of my favorite properties...a Westminster Contemporary where you can live like you are on vacation all year round!

These two gals always greet me at the house... continually looking in the glass front door, jumping up to make themselves known. Why, because they know I will feed them. And that is my pleasure! But they need to be a bit more patient...they need to know I have to get the house ready first! We live on the inside of homes but what we see from each room can be a real joy. My seller took this video after I mentioned how much I loved watching the birds while showing this contemporary home.
This home brings tranquility and a feeling of being on vacation, taking time to slow down...to take note of the beautiful nature that is all around. I always think of 3738 Bixler Church Road as a place for a year round vacation in Westminster, MD. This cantilevered contemporary on 28 acres is one of my favorite listings. With 5,000 square feet of sun-drenched space, this unusual home is definitely not a "cloneonial." Picture multiple balconies, two fireplaces, wood floors, and way too many windows to count.
Set in lush woods, the change from season to season is wonderful. My earlier photos were in the magnificent snow, and on a showing yesterday I was amazed at how green the land had grown in such a short time.

I love the name of this neat little place, and the atmosphere is like a 1950's diner with lots of lights and a genuine Wurlitzer juke box up front. Right next door there is Twin Kiss ice cream...so save room for soft serve ice cream. Twin Kiss has been on Route 140 for half a century, and the tradition continues today.
