What do kitty cats, horse races, getting enough sleep, missing a day of blogging and scams have to do with real estate? These were a few of the topics I have written about in the past couple weeks.
Professionals from around the country have commented and I have talked to other members about these subjects. The scam discussion was a topic on my radio show. Yesterday I went out with "Future Sellers". Most of you call these clients buyers. Being a listing agent, there is no way I would encourage a buyer to purchase a property that I would not be proud to list in the future. Hence...I only work with future sellers. I had appointments set up pretty quickly with our Centralized Showing Service. All of them scheduled between 1-3 PM. The second property, I used my Sentri card to obtain the key from the lockbox, opened the door and the husband went in first. He came back coughing and gagging. So much has happened over the past few weeks that I haven't had a chance to write about the delightful few hours spent at the American Craft Council's Baltimore Craft Show. It's an annual treat for me and my friend/publisher Peg Silloway. We both have spent part of our lives working in crafts, and this one day is a chance to recharge our creative batteries and see what's happening in the world of fine handcrafts.
