Settlements don't have to be in a boring Title or real estate office. We proved that tonight. A very happy closing was held at my seller's residence...an assisted living facility in Owings Mills, MD. We were given a lovely private room and thank goodness he left his reading glasses in his apartment. This was the perfect excuse to see his wonderful art collection. What's so terrific about this collection? Everything was handcrafted by my seller, Jerry Scherr, an extremely talented and prolific artist. Some houses bring more to their community than just a nice façade, and this is one of them.
