leaves in baltimore: Beauty So Close To Home

I passed this tree and took a quick photo from my car on the way to the station for my Sunday radio show. I was planning to go back after the program and get another shot, but I forgot about my busy Sundays. Instead, I did a showing on one of my unique properties. As I drove home and turned into my driveway, I saw this magnificent specimen of a tree on my front lawn. It reminded me of "no place like home from the Wizard of Oz. Happiness is so close.

After our rain the last couple of days, I thought the color was all gone... at least from the view in my office. Taking the photo from across the street, the photo at the top shows a different (6 comments)
Arriving at my new listing, the first thing I did was grab a rake...thinking I will clear the deck and push the leaves under the railing in no time. Uh uh....not enough space. They would have to be lifted over the railing and that was more time and energy than I was willing to expend.
The photographer was already there and in order to get the kind of pictures to show off this property, we would need a landscaping service. An executive decision was made (22 comments)
