A PURPOSEFUL LIFE— I find the word, "purposeful" so new sounding yet so profound in its meaning. I love to use it, but find it is one of the more difficult words to just plop into a sentence. It rarely fits! But somehow it comes to mind more readily, now that Fred has found his purpose and as he shares it with me. I discovered the word and its usefulness through Fred and his way of life—a gentleman farmer with pure grit and a penchant for helping others, simply because it felt good to do so. FUN THINGS TO DO IN SOUTHAMPTON, NEW YORK, THE FUN PART OF THE HAMPTONS... Sure there are other villages and hamlets to enjoy and each one has it's own personality and attractions; but there is something about Southampton, New York that makes you want to come back again and again and again!!!
What to do the first week here in the Hamptons??? Whether you are a summer resident or a summer tenant--there is always the question of what to do with the kids?--now that you are all settled in?

I was talking to this young man who is coming into the real estate business and he was asking me all kinds of questions about the business and how I managed to reach "top producer" in my company. WHY DO WE NEED TITLE INSURANCE???--does that question ever come up for you ??? I had a sale here in Southampton Village recently where my buyer was insisting upon not buying title insurance. He felt that it was just another expense that he could choose NOT to buy...I was at my wits end trying to explain, as did his lawyer, why he NEEDED to have title insurance. We finally prevailed and he did get title insurance after all. BUT, I AM STILL LEFT WITH THE FEELING THAT WE DO NOT REALLY UNDERSTAND THE FULL IMPORTANCE OF TITLE INSURANCE....
