Hi Everyone! Happy Tuesday!! This morning it has been on my mind the number of calls I have received lately from clients, family, friends that are looking for relief from a certain nebulous tension in the air. As you perhaps know, I have been in the counseling field for many years and now I hear people describe -- feeling like they seem to be 'wound up tighter than a top.' As we check our own lives, we do probably have to admit this is a more contentious time -- surrounded by controversy, disagreements, a loss of moral integrity - loss of character, honesty, virtue, and grace. Hi Everyone! Lately I have been wondering, or 'pondering' as Michael Jacobs would write. And I wonder: 'What ever happened to Honesty and Ethics?' I wonder: Did they take a break, gone for a long nap, or left the planet?' Whatever, but they seem to be MIA - missing in action. Yet, it is said that Honesty and Ethics are the two most powerful leadership traits. Got me to 'pondering,' We have the seasonal Holiday/Christmas warning: "You better watch out... Santa Claus is comin' to town." Then there is the Halloween - "And the goblins are going to getcha." Something comparable came to mind: "You better watch out or 'karma' is gonna come and getcha.'
