Zax Restaurant and Bar offers a casually elegant dining and drinking experience with its old wooden floors and high beamed ceilings. The menu is upscale American bistro with Mediterranean influence. If you’d like to just kick back and relax for a while with a drink, stop at their long copper bar where you’ll find a great wine list, regional craft beers and a full menu of classic and specialty cocktails. The weather should be perfect this weekend for sitting outside on their garden patio.
The menu includes selections of housemade soups, sandwiches, pizza, soups and burgers. Here’s a sampling of what you might find… For brunch: Banana Bread French Toast made with house made banana bread sliced thick with brown sugar and whipped cream. Or, how about ZAX eggs – poached eggs on crab cakes with hollandaise sauce. For lunch: There’s a Pepper Pork on Italian Flatbread – marinated pork sirloin, jack cheese, sautéed onions, green and bell peppers with chipotle mayonnaise. Dinnertime you‘ll find Pan Seared Duck Breast with green peppercorn mustard sauce and wild mushroom risotto. Or maybe try the Sesame Crusted Tuna with sweet ginger soy sauce and wasabi mashed potatoes.
Whatever you decide, you can’t go wrong at ZAX where the atmosphere is relaxing and classic and the food very good!
