Everyone in Makawao and Upcountry Maui knows about Komoda Store and Bakery. This year marks their 100th anniversary of serving the public. They started out as just a simple coffee shop back in the day way before Starbucks was found on every corner.

It's a small general store that serves the community, but they're quite famous for their bakery products, most notably the cream puffs and donuts on a stick. The flaky crusted pies come in flavors you might not find on the mainland, such as coconut and azuki bean. Check out the reviews on YELP.
