As many of you know, we are recovering from a Hurricane here on the Crystal Coast of North Carolina.  Many REALTORS® have no office to work in right now, due to flooding and other damage.  Our office was flooded just enough to ruin the carpet and create a really bad smell.  The restoration company was in yesterday morning, cleaning & treating for mold and I had just stepped into the office to find that my Desktop had crashed when they threw the breakers (and … (9 comments)

Speechless Sunday....Seashore Style!

Last Night, one of the worst storms in the history of North Carolina Swept across the state.  Reports say that 62 tornadoes touched down and at least 22 lives were lost from the storm.  Along with lives lost, many homes were destroyed across the beautiful state of North Carolina.  We were very fortunate in Carteret County, but need to keep the families and friends of those who died in our thoughts and prayers.

Hope You All have a Fabulous Day!

Speechless Squirrel on a Not So Speechless Sunday...

We noticed a few weeks ago that something was tearing apart our Outdoor furniture.  We found rips & holes in the cushions, but weren't sure if it was wear & tear from the weather or maybe a bird, or maybe something else.  A few minutes ago, as I was unlocking the back door to let the dog out, I finally busted the guilty party as he ripped the stuffing out of the cushions at warp speed.
Darn Squirrel!

(My apologies for the quality of the photo...it was taken through a … (21 comments)

Anne Harrelson Ward of Emerald Isle, North Carolina

Anne Ward was born and raised in Southport, North Carolina.  She now lives in Emerald Isle with her husband, Wade.  We are so glad she moved to the Crystal Coast, because her artwork is absolutely amazing.

Before her children were grown and out on their own, Anne painted in the "on & off mode".  During that time, Anne was also a business partner and a part-time teacher.  When time allowed, Anne returned to the ever-present desire to paint.  A few years ago, Anne enrolled in a pastel workshop … (3 comments)
