We hope this holiday season you are able to spend time with those you value most and enjoy the season.
As I write, not a creature is stirring, our Chihuahuas and cats are curled up in their little beds.
Today we'll be brief (which is totally unlike us we know) and share a video of one of our favorite performers, for King and Country, that will shake any fatigue from early morning risings right out of you!

The snow rolled in late Christmas Eve, coating southwestern Ohio with a couple of inches of white powder. The snow was the clingy variety that sticks to chain link, tree trunks and everything else it touches, providing a fresh view of nature this Christmas morning. The sky is now clear and the sun is bright, and our coneflowers have on their "tophats"!

By now on the East Coast the kids have probably been up and stirring for hours! Our furry ones stayed quiet, no 6 a.m. demands to open their presents now!
Here in southwest Ohio the weather is reasonably warm and there's no snow.
It will be a quiet day here today with phone calls to make to wish Merry Christmas to our families, although in my case we had Christmas a few days early during my visit to West Virginia.

Do you need a church home to celebrate Christmas 2016 in Mason Ohio? We'd love for yor to join us at Christ's Church at Mason! With Christmas on Sunday this year we're holding services at different times (and days) than normal, so here are the options:
Saturday December 24th: 2:30, 4:00 and 7 p.m.
Sunday December 25th: 10:30 a.m.
All services are nondenominational and will be held in the Main Auditorium and with the exception of infants through 3 year olds, there WILL NOT be separate children's service as we'd normally have on Sundays, so bring them with you to the main service!

For Me, Christmas Lights Are Nice, But There's More To It I love Christmas lights as much as anyone, but you could take away all the lights and it's still Christmas if we're with family. Most years that's meant a visit to the eastern mountains of West Virginia. Now retired, my mom's roots run deep in these mountains, with a small town called Cass as her birthplace and Bartow (about 15 miles away) now my parent's retirement spot. Generations of her family have called these beautiful mountains home.

Merry Christmas From Liz and Bill aka BLiz Our first Christmas miracle is at 7 a.m. this morning and the nieces are not quite stirring, but expect that soon they will be coming down the stairs!
The biggest Christmas miracle of all occurred some 2000 years ago and for that we can never complely express our thanks to God and Jesus Christ!

Three weeks from today downtown Lebanon Ohio will swell with visitors (about 200,000!) getting into the Christmas spirit as horse drawn carriage after horse drawn carriage adorned in their holiday best parade down the street!
