Volunteer San Diego helps nearly 30,000 individuals, families, and corporate and community groups fill volunteer needs at about 80 community organizations each year.

Meals on Wheels Greater San Diego - Volunteers work in pairs taking a meal delivery route to deliver meals to 10-15 needy seniors. Volunteers must commit to at least one day each month from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and drivers need their own vehicle, a valid license, and proof of insurance. Training and orientation are provided. The USS Midway Museum needs volunteer educators who get to spend the night on board and give tours of the ship and museum to school children.
