I received this email the other day...thought I would share it with my animal loving friends!

Dear Kristin,
I've never sent you a music video before. But I wanted to share this one with you because it is so powerful in showing that every homeless pet deserves a home to call their own. Please take a moment to watch it then take the next step and pledge to adopt your next companion. Click here. From dogs whose owners had to move and weren't able to bring their faithful friend with them to cats whose owners brought them to the shelter because of allergies, your local shelter is full of pets looking for love and a second chance for a forever home. In fact, between three and four million dogs and cats are euthanized each year in animal shelters across the nation. If more families looking for a pet chose to adopt their new furry friend from a shelter, we could put an end to this tragedy. The bottom line is shelter animals make great pets! That's why I encourage you to watch this inspiring music video to the song "I Need Love" by Daylight for Deadeyes. Then take our pledge to adopt your next pet -- you will be saving a life! Click Here! And keep an eye out in the coming weeks for The Shelter Pet Project -- an unprecedented media campaign promoting pet adoptions, courtesy of the Ad Council, The HSUS, Maddie's Fund, and animal welfare groups across the country. It will be coming to a radio, television, and website near you soon. Thank you for all you do for animals. Sincerely,
PLEASE ASK ME ABOUT MY GIVE BACK PROGRAM, WHERE I MAKE A CONTRIBUTION TO AN ANIMAL SHELTER IN YOUR NAME UPON CLOSING!!!

Hi Kristin:
You know me! I'm all about rescuing animals...
Wasn't able to view this video however...I'll check back later.
I do know you are a woman after my own heart Toula...thanks for your support....
Tony, I know...just think of the horror that is in their little heads :( So sad....
They do look really sad. This is tragic! I hope they get more funding to care for the kitties.
:)
Hello Kristin,
What a tearjerker video......it's a sad and tragic situation in our country. The video & music was very powerful and truly touched my heart. I'm still crying....my pets have always been rescued in one way or another. It's ashame that many people think of animals as throwaways. Thank you for posting and spreading the word. Shelter animals need help everywhere. Have a great weekend!
Rita
Hello my friend-That was a heartbreaking video. I am so glad that helpless animals have a voice in YOU. Have a great weekend. <SMILE>
RIta, my pets too have all been rescues and will continue to be just like you!

Kristin

My babies are all from the shelter too. I love my animals.
Mollie, Max and Fitch all thank you for being so kind hearted to them.
Kristin,
Great post! My hear goes out to these animals. You can just see the sadness in their eyes. My cat Angel was adopted. She is such a sweetheart. I can't understand why nobody wanted her.
Brigita
Brigita, I think the same thing as I look into all 3 of my kitties eyes!!!
