Hi Brenda - Another very nice picture. Wonder if Socrates is curious just how he got there and is contemplating the philosophical meaning of his existence in that space. Could be he is leaning back to try and see some landmarks to locate himself. Thanks for the blog.
Aaah, Steve, you always make me laugh! I think you nailed it on this one!
Hi Brenda ~ I really like your series you are posting. Laramie has some really amazing sculptures located around the City. Very nice landmarks.
I like this series, this one feels spiritual to me. I like it.
Brenda, That is a very interesting sculpture. And it does seem to fit perfectly in front of the College of Law.
Brenda... I just love all these sculptures you have in your town!!! very cool :)
Terrie, Kate and Christina - Thanks, it has been fun!
Hi Gary! He does fit well there doesn't he? Very fitting!
I love public art simply because a lot of it makes you think. Reminds me that I need to do a similar series on the public art on the University of California San Diego campus.
Good idea, Russel! I am always interested in seeing the opportunities you have in more populated areas of the country!
Hi Brenda, I really love the sculpture of Socrates! Thanks for sharing.
Hi Joyce, It definately has personality doesn't it? Funny how I always pictured Socrates as more majestic and other worldly....
