In Dr. Ben Carson's book Gifted Hands I read that he makes it a habit of reading the bible every day and that he loves proverbs.
First let me say if you have not read Gifted Hands you need to do so and then you need to share it with your children. (Please forgive me for telling you what you should do) ... In fact I think it should be mandatory reading for every child.
If you don't care to read .... at the very least treat yourself to the movie... Gifted Hands
I asked Rich why he thought "Gifted Hands" was not mandatory reading for every child in school... and he just looked at me and said if the world was full of Ben Carsons what would those that enslave us do with their lives and what better way to enslave one then to do it when they are young...In fact Ben Carson is looking for a way to teach our children on line so that they can not be indoctrinated by a school system that seeks to enslave them... I mean 73% of our children reading on a third grade level...
Yikes... but think about it and then think about 47% of the folks in our county receiving government assistance...
At any rate enough preaching from me... but one last thing... For many years I start every day with the Bible but since reading all of Ben's Books and he has written several I start with Proverbs... I now wonder why I have read literally hundreds of self-help books... How much time and money I would have saved had I just followed Proverbs...
