Joan I would love to be at that event.  This is my favorite time of the year for apples, they just seem to be fresher and crispier than at any other time.

FRESH apples....I do remember the days when I had that sweet taste while living in Germany!

By the way, you boil the crab claws and serve them in melted butter........not exactly healthy.

Judi-- Thanks for stopping by.  This is a popular event and the apples are sooooo good!

Bob ~  I think you certainly would like this apple fest.  There is a lot to do and see and the proceeds go to a good cause.

Joan ~  With all the apples I have been eating, I 'll never have to go to a doctor again!  LOL

Pat ~  I would love to have a good apple betty recipie.  I'll have to search on line.

Joe ~  Between the apples and the beer fests, it is a great time of year.

Patricia ~  I could smell the apples when I was driving up to the apple fest.  Fall and apples are in the air.

Andrew ~ I love the crisp apple.  I even like those sour green ones!  There is nothing about apple season I don't like I guess.

Barbara-Jo ~  I guess it doesn't hurt to have those crab claws one or twice a year.  They look soooo good.
