Blogging is just one way of spreading the word about your business.
Blogging represents totally PULL advertising that offers readers an opportunity for contact but no "in your fact" PUSH advertising.
Blogging also permits the writers to expand their Internet presence which is priceless.

“Why are you blogging?”
All of us here have had that question asked of us… heck…. we’ve even
asked ourselves that question.
We all have different reasons for blogging but underlying it all is the desire to be found… the desire for someone to read what we wrote.
Hopefully that someone will be a future client.. a lead that will turn into a house for you to sell, a home to inspect, a borrower to qualify or a home to stage.
The other day I received an email from Lea Tate, the Development Manager for the American Lung Association in South Florida. I wrote a post last October about the Delray Bash.

I spoke with Lea today and in our conversation about the blog I told her what I did and why I was blogging about the Delray Bash.
Did she need a house staged? No, of course not, this isn’t a reality show… it’s real life.
However, she now knows a little more about staging, and she knows my name and who I am.
It never hurts to make a contact… let someone know who you are and what you do. Writing about events and places in your area helps to show that you care about your area and that you are a local expert.
