 The 54th Annual Georgetown Christmas Market will be held this weekend and next weekend, December 6th & 7th and December 13th & 14th, 2014 on 6th Street in Georgetown.

FREE Holiday Entertainment
Hot roasted chestnuts
Horse-drawn wagon rides
Santa Lucia Children’s procession
Christmas historic museum tours, high tea at Grace Hall
Wassail Walk
AND OF COURSE --- appearances by SANTA!

This tiny mountain town transforms into a Christmas scene you would have seen long ago!    Thousands will visit during these two weekends to enjoy the lights, greenery and the quaint, historic town of Georgetown.      You will also find unique shops showcasing their ornaments and decorations, Victorian items, art, Colorado wine, rare books, jewelry, clothing and gifts.        Many food vendors will be available from fabulous local restaurants.  

 

Enjoy the festive Holiday season by experiencing the Georgetown Christmas Market!

 

 

 

The Town of Georgetown is a short one hour drive (depending on weather) from Denver straight West off I-70.

This is one of the things I really love about Active Rain, Joan, is the fact everyday I can go visit my friends around the country and stop by to see what's going on. And today we visit Georgetown, a gorgeous mountain community that is historic even way past the holiday season!
