Do I wish I could walk into Roger Mucci's furniture store and buy another sectional sofa?
You bet 
your beegeepers I do! Alas that isn't possible so I had to rely on a local vendor and trust me they don't have the personality that Mr Mucci does - by a long shot! Mind you, they're nice folks and have good quality products but is was just a transaction with no pizzazz. Nobody to tease me or make off the cuff 'out there' remarks. In short just not fun.
I can think of a zillion crazy stories he's shared with all of us on AR. The latest one that cracked me up was about a credit card and telling the folks he had to keep the card and call the police. Still cracking me up! That got me to thinking.....ok I know some of you are going to say.....NO Banana NO....don't get started! Thinking too much isn't good for you!
I like to have fun while working with my peeps! Everybody enjoys laughing and enjoying a few jokes in the process of buying or selling a home. Ok almost everybody.
This past week was no exception for the fun game. A sweet couple referred to me by another client/friend has wanted to move to Scottsdale for years. While we were looking at what turned out to be the home they bought, we had some fun as soon as we walked in the door. It is a gorgeous European style home with a lot of interesting amenities and features. One of them was an open 'bar' area that opened up to the kitchen. So I walked up to the 'bar' and said "I'll have a fine Cabernet, please". The wife chimed in and said "Make that a Merlot for me". And the husband even got into the fun and said " Two eggs easy up please". Everybody laughed and went on to enjoy the home.
Last night another client emailed regarding a new listing that popped up. She emailed me and asked if it was for real that the HOA fees were over $1000 a month. Can you see the FUN coming on now? So I replied yes it includes maid service, a personal chef every night, a chauffeur as needed, as well as a massage twice weekly! She replied LOL! Of course she knew I was just kidding! And indeed the HOA fees are over $1000 a month so she'll pass on that complex. But we had fun with it!
