So the contest is to tell it all...the good, the bad, and the ugly. As someone said go for it spill it, air your laundry for all to see. Let's see what I can come up with.
The Good is my dedication to going to the gym on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays for the past 15 plus years. My motivation is a wonderful trainer who I trust to keep me safe, strong and injury free. With all the hard work, John even makes the hour go by fast and it is fun. Some days when it is cool enough, 50-60 degrees, we go outside for the last part of my workout. Instead of giving into the aches and pains, we work through and around them. And the last 10 minutes l get a foam roll massage...so good!
The Bad is my internal clock that runs about five minutes late. There is always one more thing that I am so sure I can do quickly, one more phone call, check the computer, answer an email or text.
Cutting it close leaves no spare time for ever being early. There always seems to be something that contributes to slowing me down. It could be traffic, an accident, an appointment to be made or some RE fire that needs to be put out. It could be that classic client that needs reassurance, a challenge with lender or title issue. Whatever...it's never my fault.
So far it has not hurt anything. I do call to confirm all appointments and often say...
'Just want to let you know I'm on my way, be there in 10 to 15 minutes.'
So not so bad...I'm on time with the calls.
The Ugly is my use of "uh" and "you know" on my live radio show. This is something My Lee always made me aware of. It is NOT a nice habit especially on air. Maybe I should have taken some training or joined Toast Masters, or had someone ring a bell with each mention.
Maybe it's just TOO LATE.
Thanks Debbie Reynolds for sponsoring the September contest.
