The Alameda’s Farmer’s Market is open to the public Saturday October 28, and Tuesday, October 31 mornings from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, rain or shine. All the fruits and vegetables are available at great prices. So good! Don’t miss the opportunity to shop for delectable fruits, vegetables and flowers. The market is on Webster Street and Haight Avenue and is open rain or shine.
Alameda South Shore Center and Off the Grid food trucks will be at South Shore on Saturday, October 28, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm in the South Shore Center parking lot in front of Old Navy.
Halloween Festival on Saturday, October 28 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm
in conjunction of the Teen Haunted House at South Shore Center. Kids crafts, face painting, trick and treat at some stores. The event is free and costumes are encouraged. Please call 521-8100 for more information.
Crab Cove for Family Nature Fun Hour for “Halloween Animal Fun” on Saturday, October 28, at 2:00 pm then see what is going on at the Visitor’s Center. Crab Cove is located at 1252 McKay Avenue. Please call 510-544-3187 for more information.
Live at the Library Saturday, October 28 at 7:00 pm will feature the Alden Trio and the Adam Shulman Trio. Tickets are available at Books Inc and Dewey’s Friends Cafe for $35 per ticket. Concert will begin at 8:00 pm at the main library at 1550 Oak Street.
Blacklight Art Show on Saturday, October 28 at 7:00 pm at Studio 23 Gallery. The show is Halloween Themed art show and is free to the public. Studio 23 Gallery is at 2309B Encinal Avenue. Please call 415-580-2308 for more information.
Monster Mash on the USS Hornet on Saturday, October 28 at 7:30 pm to 1:00 am. Live music. costume contest, ship tour, and food for sale will be at the event. Tickets are $35 in advance and $40 the day of the event. The Monster Mash is at 707 West Hornet Avenue. Please call 521-8448 for more information and tickets.
