What Super Bowl? Oh, that one.

First off, let me say that the only football I watch every year is the Super Bowl. And to be quite honest, I do so for two main reasons, 1) I like to watch the commercials, and 2) its the only time my wife lets me pig out on chips and dip.

So this year, my routine was changed a bit. I had 2 different sets of clients want to see properties this past weekend and another want to write an offer on a commercial property. I knew I needed to get this done before my commercials, I mean the game started.

Missions accomplished, I sat down with a brand new bag of chips and freshly made onion dip, all of which I had fought the crowds at the grocery store for earlier in the day, and prepared to be excited. Oh, and watch the game too.

I must say I had a much more enjoyable time working with the 3 sets of clients earlier in the day. The commercials were lame in my opinion, and the game was a snoozer, again in my opinion. At least the clients were interesting.

Well, until next year, I put the dip in the fridge (Don't think it will last a year) and stored the chips away where I can sneak a few every now and again.

As to clients and real estate, that's a game I can stay interested in, even with no commercials!

Good morning, Peter den Boer that was the worst football game I've every seen and rarely miss one.... the commercials were worse than the game....and the half time entertainment was worst than both the game and the commercials!! the only good period was the very end and ring #6....

Good morning Peter. There was no real game, just a waste of time. As I listen to the pundits this morning talking about the great commercials, I must have watched the wrong channel. They were all as lame as the game. Enjoy your chips since we may get more of the same next year!

About 15 minutes before superbowl, the Peyton Manning / John Malkovich game promo was pretty comical.  Google it, about 4 minutes long.

Peter, I agree, my menu was more interesting than the game and the commercials.  The NFL commercial with all the players was good.

Good morning Peter. I don't have extremely high expectations and that was good because I missed my regular Sunday evening programs.

Good morning, Peter - a good take on a SUPER day's events and a particularly tasty one to enjoy for me. No calories and carb-free.

I didn't watch the game, but all I'm reading this morning was that it wasn't very interesting and the political overtones were oppressive, especially in the commercials and the half time show.

What were they thinking?

I watched the commericals today which is all I care about and there were as usual some really great ones.
