Where is the Kitchen?

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with Godzyk Real Estate Services NH License 033394

Don't you LOVE new Bank Owned Listings? I sure do. You never know what you will see or find when you open the door. Check out this kitchen. The lower cabinets and counters are long gone. The appliances have walked off. All that remains is this pile of belongings.

It is not all bad. While many may run away from, we specialize in finding buyers for ALL homes. That includes homes that need a little work, to those that need a full renovation.

Soon cash buyers will be making their highest and best "AS IS" offer. The home will close. It will be renovated and look like new again.

It is important that every Buyer or Seller should not just choose any agent, choose the BEST agent for the job. Having an agent that works for you is a must.

My philosophy is simple, provide more personal and professional service to guide my clients through each step of the buying or selling process. All Agents are not created equal and every buyer or seller should take the time to hire the BEST not just the biggest. Those that hire me, find a dedication like no other.

Lovely home! :-)

I always wonder what the story was with the previous home owners when I see something like this.

Unfortunately Scott, we have seen property left in this condition too. Our investors usually jump at these!

I am finding out  in Europe, sometimes homes are sold without a kitchen, as owners often, remove cabinets and re-use them in their new home. But it usually doesn't look like this with all the belongings strewn across the floor.

I noticed that, Nick Vandekar, 610-203-4543 , when I was watching a House Hunter show filmed in Europe.  It seemed odd to me.

One persons trash dump is another womans dream home after it's finished and brought back up to speed! I've seen dumps like this over the years and its spells - opportunity.

Oh wow . . . yeah been there. Did I tell you about the one where the living area was over the (big amazing) garage with a balcony, handyman called me 6AM arriving to do some work and startled people there who scattered like rats.

Told him call Sheriff I'll be there. Met Sheriff there and damned if whoever they were (suspect former owners) didn't ATTEMPT to 'liberate' the ENTIRE KITCHEN ISLAND. They had it pulled out of the floor, and were gonna try to lower it over the balcony to the ground floor.

It sucked having to clean up after fingerprint powder! But it sold fast. Even with the island returned but not secured! LOL

That photo reminds me of a listing I visited shortly after the 2008 financial meltdown.  The foreclosed property had as its previous homeowner someone who had completely redone the kitchen.  When they left they took all the appliances, and cabinets with them!

Hi Scott:

Well, the seller of this property has hired the right listing agent to get a sale done. I haven't seen something like this since probably 2007 or 2008, and I don;t actually recall a completely cabinet-less, appliance-less kitchen. What a great blank slate for the right buyer once all that stuff is gone.

Hello Scott - this kitchen and home may not be pleasing to ALL buyers but any home for sale just needs ONE.  It appears this bank-owned home is an opportunity for the prospective buyer who understands hard work, vision and time can make this dream become a reality.
