This Week...Autumn Arrives...Sort of
Autumn arrived on September 22. At least, that’s what the calendar said. Houston had Beta hanging overhead leaving many streets flooded.

That said, we still have daytime temperatures in the 80s but you’ll have no complaints from me. It’s better than the 100-degree temperatures we had this summer.

The beautiful sunflowers that we see on our morning walks are waving good-bye to us but I know they’ll be back next summer.

We do have some leaves that will show off their beautiful oranges, yellows, and reds but nothing like what George Souto has in Connecticut.

What has been nice are the relatively cool mornings (ok-70ish) for our walks. I think that coolish weather puts everyone in a good mood.
