Totally agree with this and I've learned a lot over the years!  I was a member of a networking group of the same concept as BNI before BNI was a thing in my town. It was very effective.

I love this post and agree with Barbara Todaro 's observation. You really are a champ. As for mistakes, there is often a nugget of learning to gain. 

I make a lot of mistakes and thus I learn a lot of lessons.  I try not to make the same mistake more than once though, haha.

I like that quote, Thomas, because it matches up with one of my favorites, "There are more lessons in life, than there are mistakes."
