Grant great to hear that the Rotary is looking to teach member to be more inclusive, instead of the direction we see many school systems going in these days, which is to teach kids to discriminate based on skin color and beliefs.

Hi Grant- the word "diversity" is thrown around too much these days without serious and sincere thought to what it really is. YOUR post is spot on!!!  It isn't just about diversity in race, ethnicity or gender but diversity and acceptance of different points of view and ideas. This is how we grow.

Hello Grant, I wish I could of been there for your speaking to this group.  Very good subject.

As real estate agents we are required to take an ethics refresher every 2 years. Our culture is such that including a class on Diversity should also become mandatory.  I had to take one as part of my GRI and it helps to open up peoples minds.

Hi Grant, what I find interesting about the whole 'current' conversation around diversity is that it is certainly not a new concept. In fact I grew up with parents who understaood diversity and inclusion of many, many people and ideas. We welcomed so many cultures from around the world into our home and communities.  And it simply feels it's always been like that for me my whole life. I honestly can't imagine not welcoming new people and ideas and helping them to feel welcome.
