My Coldwell Banker sales manager,
many years ago
heard me arguing with another agent
on the phone and stopped by
my office doorway; when I hung up he said,
"Tommy, don't take yourself so seriously,
this business will eat you alive if you
don't lighten up. Be professional,
but have some fun with this business...
you'll live longer and avoid burnout."
He was right.
And because he was both
retired Navy and my boss;
him telling me to "have some fun"
landed with me!
And I took his advice.
I'm a much different agent in 2021 than 2011.
And my team thanks me for it 😉 LOL.
