Those 10,000 Steps

I've been steadily increasing my number of steps daily.  Yesterday was a beautiful day for walking, today with the rain and chill in the air not so much.

That sounds like a marvelous day - and the colors in all the photos definitely look Spring-y!

Hello Myrl - I remember the excitement of first discovering pedometers.  Obviously advances in technology have made keeping track of 10000 steps a bit different.  The many pleasures gained from walking from one place to another can be counted in the discovery of new moments (along with some nice memories of previously found ones too).

I was shocked a short time ago to read that they were dropping the 10,000 steps because it was making too many people anxious. I look at everything as a positive, even my goals. Happy Tuesday Myrl 🙂

She'd have said the same thing or made me re-shoot. Great share about UCD, I have not been there since my college days, not as a student, but as a campus crasher to meet a girl I was dating there. My son ended up at Sac State and living in El Dorado Hills, but long before that, I was cruising Rocklin on Friday nights and hanging out at the river in Folsom on weekends. I have a lot of friends up there and back in the day it was only 90 minutes door to door from San Mateo to Sac.

Myrl Jeffcoat - Those photos will be family treasures! What a great way to spend the day and accomplish 10,000 steps without thinking about anything other than the love of family and all the beauty there is to see in this world. You chose the perfect location to take some amazing photos! 

Photos of three beautiful women from different generations and three cow heads mooing is a must!!!

Hi Myrl! I got a kick out of your jacket comment! I thought exactly that after reading that it was breezy! I noticed that because it's been extremely windy here in the last couple of weeks. I'm ready for some calm!!

Sounds like a wonderful day of hiking, nature and family. I too like to home the trails of our neighboring campus of UCSD, it's a wonderful way to take in nature and the gain some higher learning through osmosis LOL.

Myrl, those are the days you don't even mind the 10,000 steps, the scenery and company makes all the difference.
