50000 PointsThis was not my fastest 10,000 points (tied for 2nd fastest) here on AR, and I must say I am glad to be back blogging!  I'll continues to try and be faithful in the future as I love it here.  It took me 13 days to reach 10,000, 17 days until 20,000, and 23 days until 30,000.  Then, a whopping 245 days for the 40,000, and now this one took another 17 days.

And as I always say to people that do not like numbers or number crunching, run, run as far away as you can, because I like number crunching!  OR

> click away fast, VERY fast, <

I should more correctly say.  As always, as I pass the 50,000 points here on AR, it still amazes me how many still do not even scratch the surface and take advantage of AR, but all the better for the rest of us!  It is funny, while researching info for this blog I came across even more statistics - imagine that it caught my attention!  It was September 27, 2007, less than a year ago, AR membership crossed the 50,000 mark - now 9 months later is is about to cross the century mark!  50 That is a doubling in nine months  In roughly the same amount of time, the number of notaries has TRIPLED!  from a little over 400 to 1298 notary members - incredible!

Because I had such a big gap between 30,000 and 40,000 points, I dropped from #90 ranking and on page 4 in the list, to page 5 near the bottom.  This past couple of weeks I got back in the top 100, and now rank 98 in the state.  There are now 443 pages of members just in Florida, and I am on page 4.  Certainly the top 1% of the state.  And our state remains on of the hardest and most difficult to get into the top 100.  CA is a close 2nd.   I now have 50000 points plus 1 and counting, I recently crossed the 100th post milestone (still can't believe that one!) crossed the 1000 mark for comments made - actually @ 1189 comments, and also crossed the 500 comments received - with 572!  Here are my numbers summary:

Going from 30,000 points to 40,000 and taking so long to do it, I actually dropped to an average 18 position in all states.  And from 40,000 to 50,000 I now rank an average of 14.  In other words, I would rank # 14 as an average.  In Florida, with 50,000, I rank # 98  (at 30,000, I was at 90).  And again, that is not percent, that is average number ranking in all the states.  And of course, my state remains the very hardest to climb with some of the most competitive members.  But until this mark, CA actually is harder to climb as I would rank 92 in CA, but from here up, FL is the hardest to climb.  If I was at the 40,000, I would be at #125 in CA but 118 in FL.  Breaking the 10,000 mark, put me in the top 3.06%, and that is still a great place, now it puts you in the top 3.45%.  Not much of a change.  Breaking the top 25,000 points brings you into the top 1.56% now the 50,000 bring you into the top 0.73% - THE TOP 1%!!  I think soon I'll focus on the top 5% and ignore most of the bottom 95% to see where I rank just within the top 5%.  Breaking the 40,000 mark puts you in the top .97% and 697 out of 94,863 US member have broken the 50,000 mark.

Breaking the 50,000 mark, still put you #1 in 4 states!  It would put you in the top 5 in 21 states & top 10 in 28 states.  In the US, there are 94,863 members (up from 52,087 members when I was at the 30,000 mark - and a total of 96,927 - zeroing in on 100K!!!), so that is close to doubling in less than a year.  The number that crossed 10,000 increased from 1638 (when I was @ 30,000) 3,272 & 40,000 from 399 to 921, and @ 50,000 from 674 to 697.  So in the last 17 days, 23 people crossed the 50,000.  When I passed the 30,000 mark, there was only one state left, that crossing the 10,000 mark for one of its' members had not happened - WY! But even now that mark has been crossed by every state, but three states now have not crossed the 25,000 mark, and 8 still do not have anyone crossing the 100,000 mark.  Only six states had at least 2000 members - CA, FL, TX, WA, AZ & GA when I was @ 30,000 but now 15 states have crossed the 2,000 number of members.  25 states have crossed the 1,000 members, CA & FL are the only two to cross the 10,000 mark.  TX is the only other state to break 5,000. Breaking the 250,000 mark put you in #1 in every state EXCEPT FL (#3) and AZ & MD (#2) when I broke the 30,000, but now 25 have broken that mark (one more since I broke the 40,000 mark).  That is a big jump from what I see!  In the last 17 days, one state actually had a decrease in the number of members - DC lost two people.  As far as percent increase in members, most are between 2-5%, and the most number of new members was CA with 584, FL 2nd with 386, and the other states that had at least 100 new members were AZ, GA, NC, NY, & TX.

Nobody has broken the 500,000 mark, but two have broken 400,000.  And 10 have broken 300,000  When I broke the 30,000, nobody  had gone past 300,000, and only 4 had broken 250,000.  So that is a big increase.  11 states have 100 or more that broke 10,000 - CA @ 464, FL @ 393 and TX @ 180 lead the way.  Only CA & FL have 100 breaking 20,000.

As far as notaries go, there are 1298 total notaries, and I rank #4 (although there is a member that is really more of a Realtor - pushing Realtor listings and such - than a notary which would make me #3, an increase of one position for me.  There are a total of 28 categories of members.  This is the breakdown of those numbers:

Sometimes it's good to get passed and remember that other people are as hungry as you are.  Truly the essense of competition, especially when we are talking about lead generation.

Congrats Ronald, and thanks for sharing.  I am one of those competitive types anyway, so I have enjoyed watching my rank climb in my city, county, and state.  One key that I see so many people miss out on, is just completing a solid profile.  This alone will get you off to a good start, and considering most agents have websites, adding that link, will most likely put you over the 1,000 mark and make your local competition wonder how they got passed so quickly.

By nature, I am a blogger and blogging enthusiast, so I have certainly earned most of my points from blogging and commenting, which I encourage everyone to do.

Had I known there was a race to 10,000 I might have blogged a bit more dilligently.  I think I have about 3 posts for today though, which will push me ever so close to the 5,000 mark, which isnt bad considering my limited time here.

Have a good one.

Thanks Anthony  for stopping by.  I see your 12th in Mesa & 182 in Maricopa County.  You should be featuredvery quickly in Mesa if you stick with it!  It might take you a bit longer for the county but don't worry, keep at it and you will progress!    Also, you are already on page 8 of 103 for the county, which is a very good start, as you are already way above many others!

Probably true Jim, probably true.  Thanks for stopping by & commenting!  Have a great week!

Brian I'm honestly not completely sure.  If there is anything else you can describe about you and your services, I believe, the more detail you are the more points you get.  I'm not sure if I maxed out the number or not, but as you can see, I have a very extensive profile detail.  See if you can add anything to yours and see if it goes any higher... Tracy & Edie- when you get to know me, you'll learn VERY quickly - I'm a BIG numbers guy - go figure based on this blog, huh??  :-)    Edie, just part of the 'Rain' glad I could help!!
