One of the best places to Celebrate America and enjoy Fireworks on July 4th is Old Town Manassas, Virginia. In fact, everything begins at 3 pm in the afternoon with wonderful rides for the kids. At 4 pm, the food and live entertainment starts. The food has always been great and this year will be no exception. Oh, and did I mention the Fireworks begins at 9:15 pm? There is so much to learn about and things to do in Old Town Manassas. Throughout the summer, there will be events like Farmer's Markets; the 19th Annual Heritage Railway Festival; the Sunday Concert and Ice Cream Social; you can tour the Old Town Visitors Center and much, much, more. Perhaps you are moving into the Manassas area and you've thought about the VRE for commuting to work. For sure, you will need to understand how parking works for the Railroad. One of my favorite places to visit/walk within the Northern Virginia area is Old Town Manassas. This Saturday, the 15th of September from noon until 7 pm, The Band, Brews and Barbecue Festival will be in full speed ahead mode. This is an event you won't want to miss for several reasons.There is food, a variety of brews, a local BBQ competition, live entertainment and a variety of vendors.
