birds: April is Prevention of Animal Cruelty Month--My Goal to Write Every Day This Month About This!

April is Prevention of Animal Cruelty Month and since one of my biggest passions is animals, I just want to say a little something every day for the rest of the month (that's my goal). Today I would like to say thank you to the Portland Audobon Society who have taken in injured pets that I've found in the past. There are a group of volunteers who work to rehabilitate mostly winged creatures in their Wildlife Care Center and they educate people on some of the local birds in the area.
