Saying Good-Bye to a Gentle Soul

I never had the opportunity to meet Grant in person but talked to him over the phone a few times. Grant will be missed by so many.  

Very sad indeed to hear that Grant has passed and his thoughts & posts will be missed here in the 'Rain.  So sad...

Like so many here I never met Grant face to face, but I still considered him a friend. We really get to know a lot about each other in what we write and read on these pages.  He will be missed greatly in this community.

He was a true class act and easy to talk ot on the computer.  Thoughts and prayers to his family and friends.

Thank you for sharing with us the passing of Grant. I’m sorry for his family’s loss and for our loss here on Active Rain he will be missed by all . May he rest in eternal peace.

Goodbye dear friend, we'll meet in the end.

So sad to hear this.  Prayers to you and to his family and friends too.  Life is so short. 

It broke my heart and Diane & I were in shock when we heard the news,  we still remember him talking and breaking bread with him at the Boston Meetup with his wife. He was a kind person so rare....Endre

Very sad . Always enjoyed the Professionalism of his posts ! He is very close to have gotten to the 3,000,000 point . I almost feel we should push him over as a tribute ?

What a nice posting and tribute to Grant.  Every time I drive to Connecticut to see my son and drive through Grant's "neck of the woods" i would think that I should reach out and say hello.  Now I will think fondly of all the wonderful knowledge he shared with us - and treasure his contributions to us. 

So very sad to see this news... many prayers for peace and comfort to his family and friends.

I am saddend to hear another rainmaker has left us to join other ones. May peace be with her.  Best wishes,

Kathy, I certainly appreciate you passing on this sad news.  My thoughts and prayers are with his family and his Active Rain family for this loss.   

Grant was a wonderful blogger here. He shared so much.

Reading his posts felt like talking to an old friend.

I only knew Grant through our comments on each others' posts - but like everyone else, I will miss him.

Grant's posts were always informative, useful and inspirational. So, let's rejoice in his memories and contributions when we're in the Rain.

Grant was always so generous in his comments and compliments on my blog. I always looked forward to his kind support. I just looked back and just a month ago he posted a comment for me, and I always smiled when I saw his face in the list of people who had liked or commented or both on my blog. I knew he would always have a positive piece of wisdom to share and he always did. Grant, you will be missed. Fly high!

So sorry to hear of Grant's passing.  Always hard to hear about people leaving us. Thank you for letting us know Kathy.  Take care.
